Student of Mr. T. Smith Kinder 2007-2008
Dear Students,
My name is Mr. Thomas Smith. I was your kindergarten teacher at Dr. Pablo Perez Elementary in McAllen, TX. Well most of you are near graduation or will be graduating. Congratulations on your accomplishments that you have done and will do in the many years to come. Here is a reminder of your kindergarten years with me. The things you have learned are to share everything, play fair, put things back where you found them, clean up your own mess, don’t take things that are not yours. Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before eating. Remember the little seeds in the plastic cups where the roots go down and the plants go up. We had an aquarium with fish and an ant farm. Flat Stanly was sent away and returned home safely. You painted my hair red, purple and green at Splash Day. You learned ABC’s and 123’s. You learned to speak Spanish with Mr. Pena and sing with Mrs. Weber. The last few days of school were very busy and fun. This is always a hard time of year for me as I prepare to say goodbye to “MY” kids. I hope you have found kindergarten to be a wonderful experience for you. It was and has been my honor and pleasure being your teacher. You have worked hard, and are definitely ready for the demands of your future. Hope you will keep all these memories close to your heart like I did. You were all so unique and special in your own ways. I wish you well and the best of luck in your future endeavors.
Joyfully,
Mr. T. Smith
